![]() GOP Consultant Pens First BookPublishers Weekly, December 5, 2005by Bridget Kinsella, PW Daily "Leslie Sanchez... is working on a book proposal on the effect U.S. immigration and border issues will have on the election-especially among the Hispanic swing vote." L.A. based agent Sharlene Martin expects to shop the proposal in January to New York houses while she is in town for the launch of another Apprentice-related title she represented: Take Command: 10 Leadership Principles in U.S. Military Applied Under Donald Trump by the second Apprentice winner Kelley Perdew (Regnery, January). Sanchez has served as an advisor to President George W. Bush's administration and to Congressional members. She said that, as the largest block of minority voters, Hispanics are ready to flex their muscle on a wide range of issues. "Hispanics are headed to a period of transition that will determine-as early as the 2008 elections-new leaders, new behaviors and could very well determine the political majority for generations to come," she explained. |
